Account Executive

Fanta7 Media is Toronto’s largest media group focusing on Chinese market. We are seeking a driven Account Executive who enjoys working in a fast paced environment to manage and retain existing clients while acquiring new potential clients. A successful candidate is tenacious, self-motivated and determined to achieve goals.


  • Understand Fanta7’s products such as WeChat, indoor TV media, restaurants media

  • Maximize sales according to the given objectives by actively soliciting contacts, making strategic presentations to potential clients and proposing relevant advertising solutions

  • Maintain a high level of activities (phone calls & meetings at all times)

  • Develop and maintain good business relationships with existing and potential clients and key contacts in the advertising industry

  • Utilize industry connections and personal network to develop new business

  • Maximize networking opportunities by continuously ensuring Fanta7’s presence in various industry events

  • Constantly look out for industry and clients trends, news and information

  • Participate actively in all sales meetings, brainstorm sessions and internal and external training seminars

  • Monitor competitors’ activities


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a business to business (B2B) sales role

  • Valid driver’s licence

  • Comfortable with initiating first contact with potential clients through cold calling

  • Solid understanding of the advertising landscape in Toronto (web and direct clients)

  • Strong relationships with established contact network in the media industry

  • Solid negotiation and sales closing skills

  • Innovative and creative

  • Customer focused and results oriented

  • Bilingual preferred (Mandarin or Cantonese)
